Half Round
The following are examples of our Half Round covers. Never again will you have to change another small window well cover every 2 to 3 years. Those "Dixie Cup" type temporary light weight covers can never live up to these very heavy duty long lasting covers. We estimate they will pay for themselves in about 5 seasons in locations where they are most vulnerable. Even these small covers will withstand the weight of an adult and can be tested with assurance.
Patio Pro
We normally do not recommend flat covers except for this application when it is important to have protection from weather and debris and not be concerned with accidental encounters with deep wells in your patio.
High Windows
On many occasions window wells are far below the tops of the windows creating a dilemma leaving the homeowner without a good and simple solution for covering. In light of that we have developed a cover design to accommodate both the window and the well with a one piece construction that has all of the features available and yet is easy to operate. This model is extremely useful for casement windows that open out into the wells requiring extra cover heights for clearance.
Lean-To / Geo
This basic design is very straight forward and can be shaped to fit any geometric well configuration made of masonry or wood and can also be sloped to any desired height for either aesthetics or any required preferred degree.
Low Profile
When "minimum" is required without all of the amenities the LOW PROFILE will completely fit the bill by simply either snapping down to the well or just lying in place. Ventilated and slightly sloped maximizes the requirements of a window well cover while being strong enough to withstand the weight of an adult.
Great Pro
Steel or other metal covers are limited to weather protection and small debris inclusion but if you have some such as these we have a cover to complete the job. Made of the same material as our other covers they provide the same protection but are limited to the inherent properties as the great’s such as hinging. Slightly sloped they provide runoff and some ventilation. Snapped or screwed down they become integral with the grates and lift off as one single unit.
Center Hinging
This “Center Hinging” model allows easy exit when certain restraining aspects are encountered for instance, the ladders can be placed on the side of the wells to be more out of sight from within or, there may be interfering objects that would prevent adequate opening at the front. With this configuration the opposite side will be stationary.
Crawl Space
Special application such as crawl spaces demonstrates our design versatility including different obscuring materials such as white or frosted that conceal unsightly areas below or within. Propping poles are included to hold the covers open when needed. These are tucked up underneath and out of the way when the cover is closed. A good application for security here would be our "key lock" system to prevent unwanted intrusion protecting some much needed additional storage area.
Frosted
For added appearance, durability and security, we offer a frosted Lexan cover as an option.
